Drummer Billy Drummond is celebrated for his electrifying, dynamic, and deeply musical playing. A protégé of jazz giants Horace Silver, Joe Henderson, Bobby Hutcherson, J.J. Johnson, and Sonny Rollins, Drummond moved to New York at the urging of Al Foster and quickly became one of the most respected, versatile and in-demand sidemen on the scene.
