Cécile McLorin Salvant, an artist whose talents span composition, vocal performance, and visual art. Lauded by the legendary Jessye Norman for her unique voice and deep musicality, she captivates audiences by weaving together the rich tapestries of vaudeville, blues, jazz, baroque, and folk music. Her gift for storytelling shines through in her exploration of powerful narratives, forgotten songs, and cultural connections.

A winner of the Thelonious Monk competition in 2010, Cécile has earned critical acclaim with three consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Vocal Album, and her work, including the Grammy-nominated albums Ghost Song and Mélusine, showcases her incredible range and versatility. With roots in Miami and an educational background in French law and music in France, and her latest project, Ogresse, is a genre-blending cantata poised to become an animated film.
