Since jazz exploded in the second half of the 20th century, Harlem-born singer/guitarist/bandleader/composer Allan Harris has figured as the most talented and unique voice of his generation. The Miami Herald aptly described him as an artist with “the warmth of Tony Bennett, the swagger and sense of rhythm of Sinatra, and the elegance of Nat ‘King’ Cole.” The sonic evidence of Harris’ moving and majestic art can be heard in his 14 recordings as a bandleader, in numerous concerts around the world and in numerous awards, including: Nightlife Award for “Outstanding Jazz Vocalist” – which he won three times – Backstage Bistro Award for “Sustained Achievement in Jazz”, DownBeat Critic’s Choice for “Star Progress of a Jazz Vocalist”, Hot House Jazz Magazine Award “Jazz Vocalist of the Year” both in 2015, as well as 2016 and much, much more… Now it’s time to present yourself to the Warsaw audience.
