The Detroit, Michigan native  currently resides in Inglewood, California. His style is classic and his innovative yet sincere approach to music are integral parts of his signature sound.

His sound is teeped in the rich tradition of mentors like George Benson, Kenny Burrell and a host of others, but expressed through his own voice. His music is steeped in Gospel, Blues and improvised Black American Music. Jacques is proudly associated with the prestigious WJ3 Records imprint with three albums under his name, lauded by DownBeat magazine.
