She has toured extensively for over 30 years throughout the seven continents\, and has played with such people as Frank Ocean\, Kenny Barron\, DD Bridgewater\, Dianne Reeves\, Tia Fuller\, Roy Hargrove\, Terri Lyne Carrington\, Beyonce\, Jason Moran\, Common\, Black Thought and more. \nMimi Jones co-directs a multimedia interdisciplinary production with pianist ArcoIris Sandoval entitled The D.O.M.E. Experience\, creating choreography\, musical and visual works inspired by social injustices and environmental changes in our world. Voted #1 & #2 rising star by the DownBeat polls for 3 consecutive years\, she currently works on a new project called The Black Madonna. Collaborating with such distinctive artists as Diana Krall\, Roy Hargrove\, Dianne Reeves\, Terence Blanchard\, John Scofield\, Terri Lyne Carrington\, Gretchen Parlato and the legendary Charles Lloyd\, Clayton currently serves as Director of Next Generation Jazz Orchestra. \nJoel Ross continues refining an expression true to his sound and his generation. In 2019\, the vibraphonist-composer issued his anticipated debut\, Edison Award-winning KingMaker to eruptive critical acclaim. His 2020 release Who Are You? features his band Good Vibes at their most synchronous. He was later awarded a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music. Scott has toured with Herbie Hancock\, Charles Lloyd\, The Crusaders\, Kurt Rosenwinkel\, Kurt Elling\, and Terence Blanchard.

DESCRIPTION:Eric Jones was born in Moultrie\, Georgia\, and started to play piano by ear at the age of five. At 11\, Eric began studying trumpet. At 16 he started formal lessons on piano and within two years\, he was awarded a piano scholarship to Andrew College. Eric went on to pursue his education at Armstrong Atlantic State University\, studying under Dr. Kevin Hampton\, graduating with a B.A. in Piano. In addition to teaching private lessons\, composing and arranging\, he completed his Masters in Composition from Georgia Southern University\, where he studied under Dr. Martin Gendelman. Eric has worked with many prominent artists including Grammy Award winning Esperanza Spalding\, Stewart Copland of the Police and Keith Miller of the Metropolitan Opera. In 2011 Eric premiered his latest work\, “Songs of Creation\,” which combines spiritual\, jazz and African influences with the poem of James Weldon Johnson’s “The Creation.” Eric is the pianist with the Savannah Jazz Orchestra and performs with them annually at the Savannah Jazz Festival. DESCRIPTION:When Grammy-nominated Mack Avenue recording artist\, composer\, and bandleader Tia Fuller picks up her saxophone\, something amazing happens. Blending technical brilliance\, melodic creativity\, and the performing precision drawn from both her academic and stage experience\, Fuller is a force to be reckoned with in the worlds of jazz\, pop\, R&B\, and more. Currently\, Fuller balances the worlds of performance and education\, fulfilling a demanding schedule as both a busy touring and recording artist and a full-time professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. \nFuller’s resume makes her uniquely qualified for these roles. The Denver\, Colorado native graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Spelman College in Atlanta\, GA\, and summa cum laude with a Master’s degree in Jazz Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Already established as a leading jazz musician\, Fuller was selected to be a member of the all-female band touring with Grammy-winning pop star Beyoncé. Performing as part of the I AM … Sasha Fierce and Beyoncé Experience World Tour on stages across the globe\, Fuller also became a featured soloist on the Beyoncé Experience DVD (Me\, Myself and I)\, I AM Yours I DVD (Wynn Theatre) and also appeared on number of major television shows\, including Today Show\, Good Morning America\, The Oprah Winfrey Show\, BET Awards\, American Music Awards\, Grammy Awards and as a featured soloist with Beyoncé for President Obama at the White House. \nAn accomplished solo artist in her own right\, Fuller has recorded five full-length projects with her quartet. Her most recent album\, Diamond Cut\, received a Grammy nomination in the Best Instrumental Jazz category; produced by three-time Grammy Award winner Terri Lyne Carrington\, the album also features two superb rhythm sections\, both of which contain some of jazz world’s brightest luminaries – bassist Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette\, then bassist James Genus and drummer Bill Stewart. Adding texture and harmonic support of several compositions are guitarist Adam Rogers and organist Sam Yahel. Additionally\, Carrington contributes to two tracks with percussion.
