He has presented Too Marvelous for Words\, in which he portrays the legendary singer Nat King Cole\, at venues around the country. He is developing a show about the legendary blues singer Joe Williams\, Here’s to Life. \nBorn and raised in New York\, Keith became interested in the arts at a very young age. After appearing in his school’s production of The Wizard of Oz\, he knew this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He enrolled in New York’s High School of the Performing Arts and continued his studies at The Juilliard School. After graduation\, he was immediately hired by Joseph Papp as an understudy for the role of Tullus Aufidius in William Shakespeare’s Coriolanus. His work with Mr. Papp and the New York Shakespeare Festival launched his incredible career.

These two masters join esteemed co-musical directors Eric Reed and Vincent Herring along with the powerful duo of trumpeter Jeremy Pelt and saxophonist Wayne Escoffery. It is a stunning group to close out the year\, to say the least. DESCRIPTION:Jason Marsalis is the youngest son of piano patriarch and jazz luminary Ellis Marsalis Jr. and their famous New Orleans music family\, declared “America’s First Family of Jazz” upon the presentation of their NEA Jazz Masters Award in 2011\, the nation’s highest jazz honor. In addition to his renown as a drummer\, Jason is also a respected vibraphonist whose 2018 release “Melody Reimagined” with his 21st Century Trad Jazz Band rose swiftly to the top of the Billboard jazz chart. With a fire in his heart and a passion for the music\, his will to swing has never been more resolute. DESCRIPTION:Pete Escovedo toured internationally with the legendary guitarist\, Carlos Santana\, for five years and performed on three Santana albums:  Moonflower\, Oneness\, and Inner Secrets. Mr. Escovedo left Santana to follow in the musical footsteps of his mentor\, the late Great Tito Puente who influenced his music and decision to form his own orchestra consisting of a five-person horn section with strong rhythm and percussion personnel. \nMr. Escovedo finished working on his last CD released in April 2018 a labor of love musically titled ” Back to the Bay ” which received a Grammy Nomination in November 2018. Rhythm of the NIght released September 21\,2021 could be his last recording project stay tuned . \nIn 2013 Pete Escovedo was honored with a Jazz Tribute Award at the Los Angeles Jazz Society 30th Anniversary. In 2009 Mr. Escovedo had the honor of performing at the White House for President Obama and was requested to return for a repeat performance. A proud native of Pittsburg California he remains the humble person he is. \nIn\, 2023 Escovedo celebrated 67 years in the entertainment business and his 86th birthday and has received a lifetime Achievement Award from the Latin Grammy’s in Las Vegas Nevada at the MGM Grand Hotel in the Grand Garden Arena.

DESCRIPTION:Carmen Lundy’s work as a vocalist and composer has been critically acclaimed by Jazz Times\, Downbeat\, Jazziz\, The New York Times\, The Wall Street Journal\, The Los Angeles Times\, Variety\, The Washington Post\, and Vanity Fair among numerous other foreign publications. Lundy acted as Resident Clinician at Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead at The Kennedy Center in Washington\, D.C. for 20 years. She has conducted Master Classes around the world\, among them the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz and The Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. \nAs a composer\, Ms. Lundy’s catalogue numbers over 150 published songs\, one of the few jazz vocalists in history to accomplish such a distinction. Her compositions have been recorded by such artists as Kenny Barron\, Ernie Watts\, Terri Lyne Carrington\, Straight Ahead and Regina Carter. Carmen’s far-reaching discography also includes performances and recordings with such musicians as brother and bassist Curtis Lundy\, Ray Barretto\, Bruce Hornsby\, Mulgrew Miller\, Kip Hanrahan\, Courtney Pine\, Roy Hargrove\, Jimmy Cobb\, Ron Carter\, Randy Brecker\, Oscar Castro-Neves\, Robert Glasper\, Jamison Ross\, Patrice Rushen\, and the late Kenny Kirkland and Geri Allen among others.
