Three Wishes
When asked what his three wishes would be Barry Harris replied:
- “Peace in the world.”
- “A room with a Steinway and a good record player, where I can be alone with all the Charlie Parker and Bud Powell records.”
- “The end of all ‘soul’, ‘funk’, and ‘rock ‘n’ roll jazz’!”
