Era Jazzu is a nationwide series of concerts, a prestige club and gala jazz event with an annual spring festival edition attended by the greatest stars of contemporary jazz as well as a broad presentation of the most interesting jazz and trends. And not only concerts by the most prominent artists of the genre but also by a large representation of music enthusiasts.

From humble beginnings in the late ’80s, The Rex Hotel Jazz & Blues Bar has grown into a musical mecca presenting 19 shows per week. The bar has been at the forefront of Toronto’s thriving local jazz scene. The casual atmosphere, eclectic mix of retro-chic decor, and an exciting variety of draught beer combine to make The Rex feel like a second home.

Thursdays – one band plays from 9:30pm – 1:30am and on Fridays and Saturdays 10:00pm – 2.00 am.
The club’s a policy is to book local British based musicians providing a platform for some of the finest British musicians as well as encouraging a considerable number of younger players. The club employs more than ten different bands a week, making it one of the largest club promoters of Jazz in Europe.
