The Jazz Voyager

Back in the States the next destination for the Jazz Voyager is Bop Stop at The Music Settlement located at 2920 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113. This contemporary, upscale venue, the city’s premier listening room is an intimate, acoustically pristine performance space with sweeping views of Lake Erie. Open from 5p-12a, Monday thru Saturday and noon to midnight on Sunday, they showcase a variety of professional and emerging jazz artists.

On Friday the Jazz Voyager will venture to this moderately priced venue to experience ninety minutes of the vocal talents of the Michelle Lordi Trio featuring bass and piano for a cover charge of $20.00. For more information or reservations the number is 216-771-6551.

The Way I Really Play is a 1968 album by pianist Oscar Peterson. Recorded at the private studio of Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer in Villingen-Schwenningen, West Germany on November 12, 1967. The 44:50 minute sessions was produced by Brunner-Schwer.

The Jazz Voyager

The Jazz Voyager is on the way to the Lombardy region of Italy where in the global fashion and design capital of Milan resides. There at Via S. Vincenzo, 15, 20123 is  a jazz club called  La Buca di San Vincenzo. Establishing itself as an important cradle of not only Milanese jazz, the club hosts a myriad of Italian and international musicians.

The venue also hosts exhibitions of all kinds and is a living room for showcases and unplugged as well as an important showcase for emerging bands. Dine on fresh pasta, a cutting board of cold cuts and cheese, with desserts and cocktails.

Closed Sunday and Tuesday, it is open from 7:30pm – 2:30am Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9:30 – 2:30am Friday and Saturday. Live jazz performed each night except Friday.
