Three Wishes

When Nica questioned Mal Waldron what his three wishes would be, his reply was:

1. “That clubs should have better acoustics, and that they should all have good pianos.”
2. “Tremendous exploitation of my records.”
3. “That selection should be made purely on an aural or should I say auditory-basis.”
