Vibraphonist Johnny Lytle went into a New York City studio in 1968 and recorded The Sound Of Velvet Soul that was released on the Solid State record label. The ten (10) song recording session has a total length of 34:23 and was produced by Sonny Lester and arranged and conducted by Manny Albam.
